About Me

The octet (now in its 4th year of performing and recording) still consists of the original eight members: Pat McCarthy, John Perry, Zoltan Dekany, Jamil Sheriff, Ben Martin, Andrew Colman, Joel Purnell and Kevin Holbrough. The feel of the band is much the same as always; Hard hitting, post bop influenced modern jazz. Since the early days, the octet has been performing throughout England at festivals, clubs and theatres. The debut album “Daydreams has received national acclaim and the second album “Backchat” will be out soon.
