My Jazz Story

I grew up listening to the Brazilian Jazz, Bossa Nova. My Italian Grandfather, Clemente Capella, was one of the best violinist in Brazil, and of course the classic music was part of my childhood and in between Beethoven and Tom Jobim, I was listening to Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, Righteous Brothers, Whitesnake, U2, The Police and many others. These bands all had strong male voices. Being a baritone, I listened to more and more to jazz vocals and after my performance in the Broadway Show "CHICAGO", jazz became the meaning of my life. I moved to New York to perform jazz and be closer to the music that I love so much!
