My Jazz Story

I think I was first exposed to jazz during my childhood, but in a mild and subliminal way: I was used to watch and like "The Cosby Show" ("I Robinson", in Italy), where jazz music was often mentioned and performed. By the way, I consciously entered the tunnel of Jazz when I listened to Guru's "JazzMatazz" at a friend's home, in my early twenties (I was a rap and hip-hop lover at that time). I remember those days: my need to know more about jazz was pressing. So I ran into a music store and bought my very first Jazz CD choosing randomly by the shelves: it was Duke Ellington's "The Intimacy of Blues". I still keep it as a treasure.
