My Jazz Story

I grew up listening to my dad's old jazz albums and was immediately drawn to the music of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, and Doc Severinsen and the Tonight Show Band. With some great guidance from teachers, I went to the University of Northern Colorado where I got to play in the Lab I Big Band working with greats such as Slide Hampton and Bill Holman.
