I love jazz because...the musicians speak to me with beauty, great taste and understanding what the listener wants to hear! I was first exposed to jazz...at age 6 by my parents. My advice to new listeners...Don't say you don't like jazz when you don't even understand it. Approach jazz with an open mind - it's a language to love. Watch as the musicians speak to one another, listen as the vocalist adds nuance to the standards.
