About Me

Nicolas Ojeda, bassist born in 1975 Córdoba Argentina, began his studies in 1989, then moving to General Roca, Río Negro in 1990 where he studied bass with Andres Fuhr, electric bass with Pablo Frank and classical guitar at INSA (National Institute of Superior Arts). In 1994 he moved to Buenos Aires and studied with Guillermo Vadalá electric bass and double bass at EMPA (Escuela de Música Popular de Avellaneda). Since 1995 he has composed music for theater, video art, performance art, and campaigns for the Ministry of Culture of the Nation. As bassist has played and recorded in a variety of formations jazz, rock, blues, funk, experimental music, free jazz, among other styles. Since 1996 he teaches bass and contrabass. In February 2013 he released his first solo album “Posible días en sueños” (PAI records).
