Bassist, arranger, composer Migrated to Sindelfingen from former Yugoslavia (Celje) in 1960. Piano and double bass lessons at the local music school. Classical double bass lessons with Dietmar Gräther. 1987 to 1992 music studies at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern (CH) at Jimmy Woody. Moves between traditional and contemporary jazz with completely different bands and musicians as bass player and/or bandleader/composer. 1982 Founding of the first German salsa band “Wawanxo”. 1985 co-founder of the Zigeli Winter Quartet. 1988 to 1999 own modern jazz ensemble with Harry Hartman, Jogi Nestel, Vladimir Bolschakow, Udaj Mazumdar and Plattenpapzt Jöak. Four tours of Russia with this band, as well as three records. Since 1990 teaching at the music school in Stuttgart. Head of Rock-Pop-Jazz Department. 1994 to 2013 chairman of the association “musicians network”, promotion of the avant-garde in Stuttgart. 2001 founding of the record company 59music. Since 2002 Afro-Cuban Orchestra “Tokame”. 2009 to 2013 lecturer at Media GmbH Stuttgart in harmony and music production. Lively concert activity all over Europe and the USSR with different formations and as a sideman to this day. Since 2015 managing director of the agency “cuba-events”. Producer of the “Guttenberger Brothers”. Author of “Jazz Harmonies”. Founder of the “The cuban orquesta”, the only authentic cuban salon orchestra worldwide.
