My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz ten years ago. I was mad about funk and acid jazz at the time. I bought the Guru's jazzmatazz vol 1. It was the first time I heard Donald Byrd playing. Since that he is my fav musician. I met Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea,George Duke,Al Jarreau,Marcus Miller, Ron Carter, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Jonathan Kreisberg, George Benson,Lee Ritenour,Steve Gadd,Stanley Clarke, Victor Bailey, Archie Shepp, Terri Lyne Carrington, Eddie Gomez, Harvey Mason, Bob James, Nathan East, Chuck Loeb. Peter Erskine,Al Di Meola, Bill Evans(sax), Randy Brecker, Poogie Bell ect. The first jazz record I bought was Herbie Hancock - Thrust
