About Me

Jason Wright/Incognito). Er konzertierte unter anderem mit: Ack van Rooyen, Jasper van’t Hof, Kenny Wheeler, Keith Copeland, Hugo Read, John Marshall, Gerald Wilson, Arnie Chekovsky, Phil Nimmons, Hugh Fraser, Slide Hampton, Ian McDougal, Mike Herriott, Thomas Stabenow, Allen Blairman, Rocky Knauer, Ugonna Okegwo, Ingrid Jensen, Bobby Shew, Lalo Schifrin u.v.a. ________

QUOTES Ulli's music has matured to the point where he confidently addresses traditional forms with his own contemporary language. The rootedness of his music gives it historical context, and the freshness of it makes it an exciting listen. 50 years from now, this music will sound just as great as it does today.

The music on Ulli‘s album grooves to the max with great use of electronics. It makes me want to get in there and play. Peace,

Ulli Jüneman is one of those jazz musicians where everything fits.

Beautiful sound, Good Timing and Musical understanding. An understanding with a very bright vision based on History of Jazz as well his Understanding about today’s Jazz Music.

On top, able to handle the newest developments in connection to his instruments like electronics and “ know how “ about to day’s necessary HD recording systems.

All together a man from his time of this young generation in Jazz-Music today.

Jasper van’t Hof, 2012

My Jazz Story

I love jazz because because it is constantly developing and makes my life swing. ;-) I was first exposed to jazz at school. I met several jazz musicians over the years including my hero, Sonny Rollins. The best shows I ever attended: Oleta Adams, Stan Getz, and Sonny Rollins. The first jazz record I bought was Ornette Coleman's Free Jazz. My advice to new listeners is to start easy on your ears.
