About Me

I am a writer and editor always looking for good jazz-related stories. My particular interests are in bop, hard bop, cool jazz, West Coast jazz. Anything on Blue Note or Pacific Jazz. My primary area of interest is in jazz of the 50s and 60s and record collecting and research from that era. I teach an occasional class in jazz history, have produced jazz events on Cape Cod where I live and write on the subject whenever I can.
