My Jazz Story

I grew up listening to Ballads and always had a predisposition toward jazz without even knowing it until I watched the UCSD Jazz Band perform under the direction of Kamau Kenyatta. It was there that my love for jazz really caught on fire. I was then privileged to sing with Frontline from Mt San Antonio College under the direction of William McIntosh who brought me deeper into the world of jazz and furthered my love and appreciation for it. I even got to perform alongside with the Downbeat Awarding Winning Singcopation and it just took over. I am now a student at UCLA and trying to further my love for jazz.
