Eran vertzbeger picked the guitar at the age of 12.although never recieved institutional training has been sudying the instrument thoroughly. Beside jazz guitar Eran studied piano, composition and of course classical guitar.Among the teachers that shaped Erans musical oren frank ,Arik Shapira(Haifa) and was privileged to study with guitarist Peter Bernstein(NY).

During the last few years Eran has been performing with the BISHBASH sextet, playing his three horn arrangements and compositions ,UMAMI QUARTET, a contemporary Jazz group and also in a trio format having the freedom and opportunity to develop his own guitar playing style.

Lasr year the UMAMI QUARTET recorded its début album A FIRST TASTE OF UMAMI QUARTET, featuring Noam Elron ,Noam Israely and Arnan Raz.The album holds Eran and Elrons compositions arranged by the group .
