About Me

Originally from Bozeman, MT, Jake Koelzer is a singer/songwriter, educator and recording artist. He attended Berklee College of Music in 2010 and graduated in 2014 from Montana State University with an Undergraduate in English Literature and Writing. In 2010, he released his debut album, Quarter Two Three: a collection of original compositions blending styles of jazz, pop, gospel and blues. Lively Times wrote in response to his first efforts, "Koelzer conjures the low-light ambiance of hip uptown nightclubs and large downtown ballrooms, exuding confidence from flawless technique and spot-on intonation." Jake has studied with critically acclaimed musicians such as; jake fleming, Jeni Fleming, Ryan Matzinger, Eden Atwood, Gwendolyn Leathers, and Daniela Schauter.
