About Me

Bay Area Jazz Cabaret artist Benn Bacot hails from the deep south of Mississippi and adds a bit of soulful flavor to the music he performs from the American Songbook. A lyrical bass with a rich resonance, he is being called by some “The Bass Of The Bay!” He is a headliner monthly at SF's Savanna Jazz Club where you can find him every 3rd Friday evening with his Quartet. He also co-hosts one of San Francisco's longest running open mics, The Song Of The Month Club, at Martuni's. He has recently completed and released the CD “Stolen Moments!” A collection of songs each a stolen moment of musical bliss, Look for him in the coming months in a new cabaret show, “Everyday! A Tribute To Jazz Great Joe Williams!”
