John Baboian

John is a guitarist/composer and is a Professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA

About Me

John Baboian is a Professor of Guitar at Berklee College Of Music in Boston. He has been on the faculty since 1980 teaching all guitar styles but focusing mainly on mainstream Jazz styles. His performances have taken him throughout the U.S. as well as to Japan, Russia, Central America, Canada, South Africa, South America and Europe. A composer and arranger also, his music has been heard on television shows such as “The Soprano's”, “Walker, Texas Ranger”, “All My Children” and many others. His band The “Be-Bop” Guitars, features an all Berklee faculty band with 5 guitars, and rhythm section.
