proprietor. Appeared on as well as participated in the production of his first official audio release as a featured soloist
and co-leader, the Swedish 1981 independent compilation cassette release 'Modernes Pop'. A decade later, 1991-95
appearances as a sideman and featured soloist on CD's produced by Gary Burton and Guillermo Klein, and 1997-99 on four
European large ensemble/orchestral Jazz CD releases. Preceded the 2002 CD debute as a leader 'Eternity Check' featuring
electric bass virtuoso Matthew Garrison, initiated by mentor Paul Bley. Followed same year, by the acclaimed solo CD '29
Pieces for the Microtonal Guitar Live at Knitting Factory New York'. Both released on the g-wOw label, that in 2006
became NYC registered label Sonus Rex, with the solo album 'Macroscope', the 2008 CD 'Quartet' and in 2011 the duo
release Sten Hostfalt / Blaise Siwula's 'Now Matter' and the live quartet recording Sten Hostfalt G-Factor 'Moneytown'
