Larry retired from teachng college journalism after over 20 years, coming to teaching from 15 years in the newspaper business working for Ridder-Johns Newspapers.
After retiring, I have been traveling a lot and writing about it. My stories regularly appear in several publications. As well, I review plays and musical presentations, classical along with jazz for a local newspaper and online magazines. I have been a life-long jazz fan, collecting records and CDs, going to clubs and concerts. My wife, Gail, works as a fund-raiser and photographer. She takes photos for my stories.
