About Me

I was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. Graduated from the Utrecht School of the Arts (the Netherlands), dept. Arts and Media Management. Done the internship at the well-known contemporary Dutch orchestra De Volharding (www.volharding.com) Back in Kiev I joined the design monthly Salon (www.salon.com.ua), for which I still write on freelance base. Jazz for me is the music that has been sounding my whole life: from my parents LP's through amazing club scene in Amsterdam to touching musical revelations of my friends, jazz musicians. The article on Jazz Expo in Sardinia will be my first attempt to put to words this life long experience.
