About Me

Recently, I have been mostly involved in leading my own projects the latest of which is my songwriting partnership with Hayley Youell. The results of this can be heard on the CD Momentarily (pfcd 0901). I have released 2 CDs with the exceptional pianist, Keith Tippett; Wild Silk (ASC CD8)and IMAGO (JazzPrint JPVP132CD). In 1995 I was given the Peter Whittingham Award which lead to the release of a quartet album,PERMISSION (ASC CD18),featuring Mike Walker (gtr)& Tim Whitehead(sax). My first album was Shepherd Wheel (ASC CD1) in 1995. I have also performed and/or recorded with Ute Lemper, John Harle, The Matrix Ensemble, The Delta Saxophone Quartet, The Bournemouth Sinfonietta, Mike Westbrook, Tony Oxley, Michael Hashim, Lynne Arriale, Kenny Davern, Herb Geller & Herb Ellis.
