About Me

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The daughter of Award Winning Director of Photography Roberto Mateo.

Got her first still camera and Super 8 film camera at the age of six.

Started working mentored by her father at early age in several long features and advertising commercials.

At 19 years old became the Art Director for Phillip Morris working on the Marlboro campaign for 7 years in South America and Europe.

Moved to New York in 1993. Graduated from New York University Film School in 1996.

After graduating in NYU attended the Feature Film Lighting Workshop with Rob Draper (ACS) and Director of Photography Workshop with Andrew Laslo at The International Film and Television Workshops in Maine.

Had produced three PSA short films in 35mm and three short films in Super 16mm.

She is currently working on video documentaries, music videos and still photography for musicians.
