I am passionate about contemporary + smooth Jazz. If I listen to plenty of smooth jazz each day, everything else just falls into place!!

About Me

I first became interested in Jazz in the early '60s, after hearing The Dudley Moore Trio, I then moved up to London, and studied with eminent double bass virtuoso PETER IND. After about 2 years, I became a proffesional musician and I went on to play with most of Britains top Jazz musicians, including TUBBY HAYES and ACKER BILK etc, aswell as being the regular bassist with Bob Wallis and his Storyville Jazzmen - I now live in a cottage in Somerset UK where I run websites for several well known jazz musicians which include; www.dudleymoore.co.uk and www.horstjankowski.co.uk - I am also involved in running a fan club for Rolling Stones guitarist BRIAN JONES, as a result of which I am mentioned in several of the recent books about The Rolling Stones. I now also have my own jazz programme on local radio.
