About Me

I live and breath music. Among my earliest memories are listening to my dad’s record collection and feeling an instant attraction to the sounds I was hearing as well as a fascination with the craft of music making. A record collector from almost the day I was born, I have built a collection that encompasses a wide panorama of genres, including jazz, rock, pop, folk, soul and classical. Particularly passionate about such artists as Elvis Presley, Miles Davis, Donny Hathaway, Frank Sinatra, Laura Nyro, Duke Ellington and Leonard Bernstein (and far too many others to list!), I maintain an active Twitter presence where he shares what he is listening to among other interesting tidbits and I also write the 'Listening Sessions' Substack newsletter (check it out here: https://listeningsessions.substack.com/). In addition to music, I am a voracious reader and an avid movie buff.
