Got my first camera at 9 and haven't looked back...! I think in pictures, which makes life really challenging and all-encompassing. Details become clear in a flash and capturing the “decisive moment” is my greatest joy!

My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it's never the same and certainly NEVER boring! I was first exposed to jazz before I was a teen! I attended Monterey Jazz Festival for about six years with a press pass and have attended thousands of music performances in about ten states since the mid '80s! The best show I ever attended was Dizzy Gillespie on Maui 1991. My advice to new listeners listen to a W I D E variety of music and find what you LOVE most!
