...born in Vienna, 11 years of classical piano education, took part in piano competitions, started with traditional jazz piano in 1974.

My Jazz Story

- after 11 years of classical education I was first exposed to Jazz in 1974 - focus on stride piano, blues, boogie woogie, ragtime, swing - played with Axel Zwingenberger, Vince Weber, Jay McShann, Bob Seeley, Rob Agerbeek, Joja Wendt, Jean Pierre Bertrand, Jean Paul Amouroux, Martin Schmitt, Martin Pyrker, Anke Angel, Christian Willisohn, Louis Mazetier, Bernd Lhotzky, Frank Muschalle, Fabrice Eulry, Mojo Blues Band... - the first jazz record I bought was "The Giants of Boogie Woogie" (Joker Rec.)
