The Swedish jazz singer, arranger,

composer and improviser Lina Nyberg

released in 2017 her 18th CD, ”Terrestrial”

the grand final in her double album

trilogy. An epic artwork in which Linas

voice, music, lyrics and arrangements

creates a brand new universe for the

listener. ”Terrestrial” was awarded the

”Gyllene skivan”-prize as the best jazz

album of the year by the legendary

Swedish jazz magazine Orkesterjournalen.



Lina Nyberg is one of Sweden’s most

creative and innovative jazz singers. For

about 20 years she has been attracting

consistent and widespread attention,

starting with the debut in 1993 with the

duo CD Close together with late pianist

Esbjörn Svensson until now, at the release

of ”Terrestrial” with her amazing new

music for her band and symphony

orchestra.
