About Me

Professional Musician since the late 80's here in NYC. Played with many groups over the years including the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra, Vincent Chancey's Phat Chance, Reggie Workman, The Last of the International Playboys and many others.

Currently Steve has a Jazz Trio, Classical Guitar Trio, Duo with an Opera Singer, and a Cuban Quintet.

He enjoys living in NYC where as a musician, one can perform many different genres of music.

My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz in High School, my first jazz guitar teacher. I heard Coltrane, Miles, Ornette Coleman, Art Blakey, Wayne Shorter, etc etc. That was it! Mind blown, no turning back.
