My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz when I attended a Blood, Sweat & Tears concert at Madison Square Garden in 1970, and had no idea that the opener would be the Miles Davis Quintet. This was a couple of months after "Bitches Brew," which I had not heard. They just blew me away--I remember looking around at the audience and nobody knew what hit them.
