My Jazz Story

I love jazz because...Every performance is different, and there are so many sides to jazz. I was first exposed to jazz...By my father. He was a piano player and accordionist, and when I was young I remember when he brought home "Time Out" by Dave Brubeck. Listening to anything else was kind of boring in comparison after that. I met [musician name]...Dizzy Gillespie , David Garfield, David Benoit, Allan Holdsworth, Ernie Watts, Jeff Hamilton, John Clayton, Tom Scott, Alan Pasqua, Airto, Alex Acuna, Louie Bellson. And many more . The best show I ever attended was...John Daversa Progressive Big Band ; Live Recording session of Kalidescope Eyes album. The first jazz record I bought was... Tony Williams Lifetime My advice to new listeners... Just keep your ears open. There is so much out there. Or whatever else you have in mind.
