My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it seems to rocket me into a previously unknown dimension where I experience music more than just listen to it. Jazz has something for every mood. I was first exposed to jazz by my Great Gram who was from Louisiana. In a more serious way, it was with a group of friends at 4:00 AM after a really really sweet night. Someone put on Time Out and I was in love. The first jazz record I bought was; Heavy Weather by Weather Report My advice to new listeners is to keep an open mind, let your taste evolve.
