About Me

Born and raised in Montreal, St-Laurent studied improvisation in New York before moving to Berlin where he toured with both the big and small names of the German and Scandinavian music scenes. Since returning to Canada, he has been leading his own band in the studio and on tour in Europe. Recording and touring credits include Thomas, Dave Liebman, Dave Binney, Dave Douglas, Till Brönner, Helge Schneider, Larnell Lewis, Slide Hampton, Richard Underhill, Jojo Mayer, Carlos Del Junco, Bernard Primeau, Emilie-Claire Barlow, Take Six, Michael Mcdonald, Martha Reeves.
