About Me

Since touring across the midwest with her two sisters while very young; singing in county fairs, churches and local tv shows; Terri Jo has never stopped singing. She earned a midwest following as a singer/songwriter before discovering her love for singing jazz standards. Terri Jo moved from Nebraska to Denver, CO in 2009 and dove into the strong jazz scene. She is now the featured vocalist with the touring Park Hill Brass Nonet who has spent 3 years performing in the Jazz en Vercor Festival in southern France. Terri Jo also performs & has recorded with other celebrated jazz musicians in the Denver area and front range.

Terri Jo was awarded the “Pathways to Jazz” recording grant in 2015 which propelled her first full length release, “From This Moment” which hits radio release on March 8, 2016. Her CD release show will be presented on March 13 at the nationally famous listening room, ”DazzleJazz”. My Jazz Story

I was first exposed to jazz hearing my mother playing jazz on the piano. The first jazz record I bought was a compilation of jazz female vocalists. My advice to new listeners: close your eyes and soak it in.
