About Me

Ron Jones has always been creative. According to ASCAP, Ron has about 40,000 compositions playing around the planet on hundereds of popular TV Series, Films and Media. His credits include such popular iconic TV series such as Star Trek:TNG, Family Guy. He has recieved 5 Emmy Nominations, a Grammy Nomination as many other entertainment industry awards. While in L.A. he directed the very popular Influence Jazz Orchestra made up of the top session studio players. As one of the composers for the Star Trek francise, Ron was invited to conduct the London Philharmonic at Royal Albert Hall as well as with orchestras in the US. Jones is always involved in teaching and sharing what he knows to students and pros. He founded the Academy of Scoring Arts non-profit based in Los Angeles and he leads the Master Class Series at his new SkyMuse Studios north of Seattle. Jazz Forest is his latest passion and creative outlet. He has put a great new band together from the top players in the NW and is bringing this powerhouse group to venues all over the Northwest. He calls the style Cinematic Jazz and he adds video and high production values to each performance.
