About Me

I was 16 or 17 years old. On every Wednesday, I went to the library of my small town. Vinyl discs trays were ordered by style and period. Folk songs, Pop-Rock and Jazz. I don't know why this record is the one one with which it all began. Bird and Diz, 1952. Mercury. With a beautiful art cover. Black, white, blue. And a red saxophone, flying away. Others followed. Miles Davis. Dexter Gordon. Milt Jackson. John Coltrane. Chet Baker. I dreamt of smoky cellars. Photographs by Herman Leonard, Francis Wolff. William P. Gottlieb. One by one these records, one by one these photographs helped me to build an imaginary world. Blue mood. At every photo, at every portrait, I try to remind this world. Go beyond musicians to shoot Music.
