My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it allows for complete self-expression - really delving into one's core authenticity - but you can't be selfish. You have to learn how to be an individual within the context of a greater, and ideally cooperative, group dynamic. Jazz teaches freedom, democracy, humility, and humanity. And best of all - it never finishes teaching, because the path of mastery is an eternal journey.
