About Me

Pianist, composer, performer and educator, born in Rosario in 1980, and based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.



She was trained as a classical pianist, from the age of 5, and later studied Composition at Escuela de Música de la Universidad de Rosario (National University). Her musical activity was always focused on improvisation, going deeply in jazz tradition at first, and then opening her language to a more personal (free) music, even extending to other artistic disciplines, (dance, theatre, poetry, etc). Today she has more than 30 records as a leader or co-leader. The most popular “Tensegridad” with SLD Trio, (Germán Lamonega on bass and Pablo Díaz on drums), was released on the well-known Swiss label hatOLOGY and had excellent international reviews. On the other hand she also co-leads with other artists the independent label Nendo Dango Records. Albums like Cooperative Sound, (along with several artists from NY and co-produced with the organization Continuum Culture & Arts, Inc) Emptying the Self (with William Parker and Pablo Díaz), Geograficciones (along with Andrew Drury and other Argentine musicians) or Future Retrospection (together with Kristin Norderval and Pablo Díaz) were released on this label.

As a dancer / performer, she trained and worked with different artists (dancers, choreographers) She founded the project called IMUDA, (from 2010 to 2017), an interdisciplinary project that showed the need to investigate into the connections between dance and music. It was the basis for the workshop El Cuerpo Rítmico (created in 2016). Now, this permanent workshop is her main personal space for investigation and creation in music and performance. She also co-leads the performative project “Algo en un Espacio Vacío” with drummer Pablo Díaz. They toured several times around Argentina, NY in the U.S and several European Cities. In January 2019 she was awarded by Robert Bielecki Foundation (NY)

Since 2006 she is a full professor in the Jazz Career at Conservatorio Manuel de Falla.

Since 2020 she is curator and artist in-residence at Musica Area of MAGMA, centro de artes.

Since 2021 she is professor at Universidad Nacional de Quilmes.
