My Jazz Story

I play the blues because I listened to Jimi on the radio when I was young and grew up with my father's Ray Charles records, but with a different background I would probably now be a classical violinist, or maybe a streetsweeper. Truth is, given the dominance of the American Empire, the blues, along with jazz and much more, has become a universal language. Another thing is also true: a bluesman will always play for the people and with the people, because the ultimate goal of the blues is to sing the people, in America like in Italy.
