About Me

A lifelong jazz fan - or at least since age 12 or so, She is also a retired management consultant and spend my time as a full-time mixed media artist, a casual jazz photographer, creator of many jazz promotional graphics, and the occasional web designer. She previously published two volumes of “San Francisco Bay Area Jazz and Bluesicians” (2013 & 2014) consisting of photographs and bios of 251 musicians. She publishes bay area jazz to jazznearyou on a regular basis as a support for local venues and musicians.

My Jazz Story

I love (live) jazz because it comes from the soul, not just when it was composed, but from each player every time it is played - and lifts me into a realm not found in other endeavors.

My House Concert Story

I attend house concerts every year, pretty much any I'm invited to...
