Nothing is as sweet as Nina talking about sugar in her bowl. Ella makes me easily imagine a river of tears. Miles cooks up a wicked brew. Basie swings like no other. Stuff Smith is unique and original.

ALl of these things and more make up the “jazz experience” for me.

My Jazz Story

Jazz is many things to many people. Other people don't really contemplate it but instead just absorb or allow the music to wash over them. For me, it's something that makes me feel good. It represents freedom, unity, individualism, and people all pulling for the collective good. All of these things happen at once and I love it!
