This is where I should summarize all of me and funnel it into select words in hopes of capturing the essence of what I am. Maybe I'm too focused or obtuse but the task of distilling and extracting is one I have not mastered, yet.

My Jazz Story

Who can honestly say they're not moved when they hear Billie Holiday? Who can deny the inevitable feeling of warmth and good that flows when a Billy Strayhorn composition makes contact with your ears? It is experiences like these, and others, that make my heart and soul want to dance, shout, and sing. Duke said there's only two types of music: Good and bad. He's much more talented than I dream of being and more magnanimous when it comes to musical taste. Jazz is it for me. Nothing else comes close.
