About Me

Took up drums in 1963. Professional musician since 1978. Have played with many of the best Traditional Jazz Bands and musicians, including Jim Cullum Jazz Band, Dukes of Dixieland, Butch Thompson Trio, Black Eagle Jazz Band, Grand Dominion Jazz Band, Bob Schulz Frisco Jazz Band, Climax Jazz Band a.o. Have also played Western Swing (Jason Roberts, Billy Mata); Blues (James Harman, Nathan James, Ben Hernandez, Blue Largo, Billy Watson, Junior Watson) and Rockabilly (Cash Kings, Hayriders).

Currently leading On The Levee Jazz Band (music of Edward “Kid” Ory), Swing Central (small-band Chicago Style swing) and Pretty Wild (tribute to Wild Bill Davison).

Sideman with Tim Laughlin, Kris Tokarski, Banu Gibson, Floyd Domino's All-Stars, Cash In Hand Band, Dan Walton's Jump Swing Imperials.
