My Jazz Story

Jazz was the "Top 40" music of America until the early to mid-60s. There was a reason for that. It's the ultimate form of democracy in action. All of the musicians doing their own thing but listening closely and interacting/complimenting each other simultaneously. Not everyone can play a musical instrument or belt out a tune in a sophisticated classy manner. These days, everyone wants to be a "musician" hence the decline and fall of jazz's visibility. For those of us that are more cerebral and conscious of our own limitations we can revel and marvel at the musicians that present their craft.
