Ian Kane specializes in swing, stride, and early bebob piano playing. His band, The Blue-hots, sings and plays music from the American songbook. It covers standards as well as more obscure tunes from the 1920s to today.

My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... It's exhilerating. I was first exposed to jazz... playing ragtime as a child and later discovered Gershwin's music and the American Songbook and everything associated with it.
