About Me

I have loved and have been performing jazz since I can remember, receiving my BA degree in vocal performance with an emphasis in jazz from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In Kansas City, I worked with Bobby McFerrin, Marilyn Maye and Ida McBeth among others. I also recorded numerous jazz demo albums as well as jingles during my eight years in the Kansas City area. I have appeared in the Denver area with Gabriel Mark Hasselbach, Jennifer Lane, Hazel Miller and numerous other rock, funk and R&B groups. I write original songs in jazz, pop and contemporary Christian realms. I honed my vocal skills over the years by performing every genre of music from musical theater to opera and country, but my true passion is vocal jazz.
