Non riconferma la felice impressione destata un paio d'anni fa col suo album d'esordio il collettivo torinese, pur in presenza (o magari proprio per questo?) di un nutrito quanto prestigioso parterre di ospiti, oltre a quel Giancarlo Schiaffini che già illuminava il primo lavoro (intitolato appunto come il gruppo stesso). The Italian Porta Palace Collective began its work as a Torino-based quintet led by trumpeter Johnny Lapio releasing its self-titled debut album last year (Rudi Records, 2015).
