Il giovane polifiatista, compositore (nel caso specifico di tutti i brani, esclusi ovviamente “Giant Steps" e “Lush Life") e arrangiatore (dei succitati) berlinese Malte Schiller merita senza alcun dubbio tutta la nostra attenzione. In quest'ottimo album, dirige un ensemble di undici elementi (lui compreso) di “tiro" eloquentemente orchestrale, però con un intercalarsi fra pieni e vuoti (leggi sezioni a ranghi ridotti) che è tipico di certa “letteratura" europea di settore, e che dota la musica di una sorta di movimento ...
