Saint Petersburg is Russia's jazz capital, home to Igor Butman-Bill Clinton's favorite living saxophonist, and chosen for his musical debut by none other than Vladimir “Fats" Putin. Pianist Leo Volskiy also hails from the city, but no longer lives there.
