Come si evince dal titolo, questo disco rappresenta un omaggio a due grandei del passato. Due musicisti che hanno fatto la storia del sassofono tenore, suonando per lo piú insieme in un quintetto che ebbe notevole successo: Al Cohn e Zoot Sims. Diametrics. These two recent Naxos Jazz releases represent a study in contrasts. Katewalk is a tight, funky, driven affair while Freedance is, well, a Freedance!
