Album molto interessante questo Swim To The River. Innanzitutto è di difficile classificazione, e poi ha una capacità di includere vaghe reminiscenze rock, pur mantenendo un aplomb assolutamente integro. Il che non è cosa da poco. Le composizioni sono interessanti, ben articolate, ritmicamente varie, e vivono dell'interazione tra la chitarra di MacKay (che a tratti usa sonorità anni '70 - viene in mente Stephen Stills) ed il sax alto di Greg Ward, sempre molto puntuale ed incisivo, anche se talvolta ...
