The Klezmer revival began in earnest in the '80s, when the repertoires of clarinetists Naftule Brandwein and Dave Tarras were rediscovered by a new generation of jazz, avant-garde and folk musicians. Giunto al quarto disco da titolare per la Tzadik (senza contare la partecipazione all'antologia Masada Guitars), il chitarrista Tim Sparks continua ad esplorare il repertorio della tradizione klezmer trasportandolo sulla sua chitarra acustica in versione fingerstyle, accompagnato, come nei due lavori precedenti, dalla ritmica di Greg Cohen e Cyro Baptista.
