At age 24, Peter Slocombe sounds like a veteran. His debut, Lullaby For Elizabeth, shows a warm, lilting tenor sax sound, hinting at Joe Lovano and Michael Brecker, but mixed with a unique restraint rarely found in today's young jazz players. Meet Peter Slocombe:As a professional musician, Peter divides his time teaching and performing. He has had experience teaching privately, through the Community Arts Partnership (A non-profit arts organization), and running clinic's at high school music programs. He has also shared the stage with well known jazz artists: Larry Koonse, Joe LaBarbera, Darek Oles, Vinny Golia, and John Fumo.
